Hot Tub installation

Hot Tub Installation and services

Cedar Hot Tubs UK offer a full delivery and installation service across the UK & Ireland.

We also offer a maintenance service to all our customers; this is normally carried out every six-twelve months.

Hot Tub Site Preparation:

1. Choosing where to place your hot tub is most important and often overlooked. Things to consider are privacy, wind and sun direction & noise from traffic and neighbours.

2 . Once you’ve chosen your preferred position, a 4” concrete base or paved area (level) needs to be constructed. The size of the concrete pad, paved area will be determined by the size of the hot tub. If you plan on sinking the hot tub into the ground you must plan for a sump area in case of overspill.

Installation Step-by-Step

Power Requirements

A single phase 16 or 30 amp power supply with dedicated R.C.D (E.L.C.B) should be fitted close by the hot tub; this should be positioned away from any overspill from the hot tub.

Please note that all electrical connections must be carried out by licenced electrician

Water Supply:

You don’t need to have a permanent water supply installed, a hose pipe from an outside tap is sufficient as the tub will only need emptying and re-filling 3 times a year.

Draining the Hot Tub:

The best way to drain the hot tub is by using a pond pump/submersible which is available at most garden centres, using this method the tub would only take 10 minutes to drain.

  • A typical installation is 2 Days. Once we’ve installed & commissioned the hot tub, we go through a detailed demonstration on how things work.
